WHO we are

THATMILK was founded in 2018 by multi-disciplinary filmmakers and friends, George Gray and Joey Bellas. The two began their creative pursuits through a combined passion for music and filmmaking with the aim to create content that stands out from the crowd. Based in the North East of England we work with bands, artists, businesses and brands to produce immersive audio-visual videos tailored to each clients specific needs. Be-it filmmaking, photography or creative direction, our streamlined end to end creative process pairs our creative minds with data-driven research to deliver award winning results. THATMILK strives to foster an inclusive, comfortable environment on set, to allow voices to be heard and creative flow to flourish.

JOEY

DIRECTOR / PRODUCER/ PHOTOGRAPHER

Beginning his creative pursuit in the music industry by picking up a camera and going for it, Joey partnered with George to found THATMILK in 2018. Adding a creative flair to the content across social media for bands and artists, directing music videos featured on MTV and filming for brands across the world, Joey's keen eye for content catching opportunities has resulted in millions of views across the online world.

TOBY

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY / COLOUR

Working through the ranks on film sets, from best boy, to gaffer and making his way to shooting feature films shown in cinemas, Toby joined THATMILK coming out of Covid in 2021 as resident Director Of Photography. As a fellow lover of live music and events Toby's passion for the work we do has reflected massively, DOP'ing live multi-cam events, music videos and short films, leading to award winning results.

GEORGE

DIRECTOR / EDITOR

From creating action movies with his childhood friends, to directing award winning short films and music videos - George founded THATMILK through a combined love for music and film, giving THATMILK it's natural rhythm, pace and stand-out style. Alongside his directorial credits, George's knack for editing has shone through his previous work, editing social-first content for the likes of Disney, FX, AdultSwim, Wizarding World, NatGeo and SiruisXM.
